Mount Baker topo map

Print size: 11 x 14 inches

The glaciers that cover this volcanic summit are a testament to the wintry climate of Mount Baker. The ski area down on its flanks holds the world-record for the greatest single-season snowfall: 1,140 inches (95 feet). Baker is the northernmost Cascade volcano in the U.S., just over 15 miles south of the Canadian border.

This map focuses on the summit of Mount Baker, along with all those glaciers, the streams they feed, and forests that fringe the mountain. All major geographic features are labeled, and elevations are noted for major peaks and points. Contour lines and shaded relief provide a detailed view of the topography, and hiking trails are shown and labeled so you can reminisce about adventures past or dream of future expeditions.

Each piece of type has been placed manually so that, even though this map was created on a computer, it retains the feel of classic cartography with great attention to detail, clean design, and a beautiful rendering of a beautiful landscape.

The print comes on a smooth, deep-matte, non-reflective paper that looks great in any light. Mounted prints are set on a 1/8" Masonite board, giving them a rigid backing and making them ready to mount, hang, or frame right away.

Note: this map should never be used for navigational purposes.
