Todd Lake wall map
Todd Lake wall map
Print size: 11 x 14 inches
Named for John Todd, the man who established the Farewell Bend Ranch where modern-day Bend sits on the banks of the Deschutes River, this lake is the first encountered on a drive beyond Mt. Bachelor on the Cascade Lakes Highway. Todd Lake sits in the heart of a collapsed volcano, and the meadow at its northern end provides views of Bachelor along with a profusion of spring wildflowers.
This map focuses on the lake itself, but subtle contour lines in the background give a sense of the topography of the surrounding landscape. Shading within the lake provides a simplified view of the water's depth throughout the lake.
The maps are printed on a smooth, deep-matte, non-reflective paper that looks great in any light. Mounted prints are set on a 1/8" Masonite board, giving them a rigid backing and making them ready to mount, hang, or frame out of the box.
Note: this map should never be used for navigational purposes.
