Though it sits a mere 70 miles from Seattle, Glacier Peak is often overlooked in favor of the higher and more threatening summit of Mount Rainier. Still, this summit is Washington's fourth-highest, and the last 3,000 years have seen five major eruptions.

This map focuses on the summit of Glacier Peak, along with all those glaciers, the streams they feed, and forests that fringe the mountain. All major geographic features are labeled, and elevations are noted for major peaks and points. Contour lines and shaded relief provide a detailed view of the topography, and hiking trails are shown and labeled so you can reminisce about adventures past or dream of future expeditions.

Each piece of type has been placed manually so that, even though this map was created on a computer, it retains the feel of classic cartography with great attention to detail, clean design, and a beautiful rendering of a beautiful landscape.

The print comes on a smooth, deep-matte, non-reflective paper that looks great in any light. Mounted prints are set on a 1/8" Masonite board, giving them a rigid backing and making them ready to mount, hang, or frame right away.

Note: this map should never be used for navigational purposes.
