The highest peak in the contiguous 48 states stands tall, but certainly not alone. Mount Whitney is just one of many lofty summits found in this part of the Sierra Nevada, where rocky peaks rises high above basins where alpine lakes glimmer in the summer sun.

This map centers on Mount Whitney while stretching from Shepherd Pass in the north to the Cottonwood Lakes in the south. All major geographic features are labeled, and elevations are noted for major peaks and points. Contour lines and shaded relief provide a detailed view of the topography, and hiking trails are shown and labeled so you can reminisce about adventures past or dream of future expeditions.

Each piece of type has been placed manually so that, even though this map was created on a computer, it retains the feel of classic cartography with great attention to detail, clean design, and a beautiful rendering of a beautiful landscape.

The print comes on a smooth, deep-matte, non-reflective paper that looks great in any light. Mounted prints are set on a 1/8" Masonite board, giving them a rigid backing and making them ready to mount, hang, or frame right away.
